burn

I want to say that I am afraid to touch you.

Afraid that what’s in me and what’s in you –

will catch fire.

Burn me.

Burn you.

And burn out.

This week I wanted to try putting together a piece that has been rattling around my head for a while.

I am not comfortable with it: it doesn’t seem quite right. But I think it might be the best I can do to explain this combination of desire with a few different kinds of fear.

What does it make you think?

    • Thank you for taking the time to comment. I am still not in love with the way burn came together structurally but the more I look at it the more I like it. Appreciate and will think about the feedback. Abe
